The Trinity College Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) works to promote effectiveness in teaching in all its dimensions.

The CTL supports newly hired and untenured faculty in finding their own most effective approaches to teaching, and works with tenured faculty to identify and disseminate good teaching practices. The CTL staff sees effectiveness in teaching as an essential component of a fully-realized academic career that also embraces research and/or creative productivity, service to students and the College, and membership in a co-operative, vibrant, and supportive intellectual community.

The CTL has a resource library of books and other literature on teaching techniques, scholarship, and the role of liberal arts education.  Books and video resources are available for borrowing by any member of the faculty. Please feel free to drop by the library, or peruse the CTL collection by clicking here. If you have suggestions for acquisitions, send us an email at [email protected].

Additional Resources:

In these challenging times, the CTL in collaboration with RIT would like to provide additional resources that assist in effective teaching and learning not only in the classroom but also in a remote or hybrid format.
